Marxist Mullet Revolution

Los Angeles, CA - In a world where Billy Ray Cyrus is the undisputed monarch, one man is taking a chance and trying to take the power back, proving that old-fashioned revolutionary heroes do exist in the 21st Century. The Mullet world was shocked Tuesday when washed-out pop pseudo-musician Richard Marx held a rally in Los Angeles, declaring himself new "Commander in Chief of all Mullets."

"The BRC dynasty is over!" Marx claimed with his arms raised over his glorious beauty-mullet. Marx and his growing group of supporters claim that the time has come for a new era in mulletude. "We're tired of seeing our numbers dwindle," Marx told a crowd of supporters and small group of journalists, assembled because they were lead to believe he would be making a statement against violence in the Middle East. "The nineties started out so strong, and look at what we've become." Marx was not speaking of his career, which he hopes will receive a jumpstart from his latest album, released last month.

Marx's claim to the Mullet Crown isn't exactly unwarranted. At the rally he was handing out a portfolio of his many glorious mullets, available here in its entirety. Certainly one can't argue the depth and range of Marx's commitment to the mullet. And ultimately it's this commitment that is inspiring his supporters, mostly comprised single women in their thirties. Marx concluded his dramatic speech shouting, "I'll be right here waiting for you!"
